NON-WOVEN JUTE FELT

Jute felt is a versatile, eco-friendly non-woven fabric made from compressed and matted jute fibers. It can be composed of 100% natural jute or blended with other vegetable or synthetic fibers to enhance its properties. It is a material made from jute fibers, which are extracted from the jute plant (Corchorus olitorius and Corchorus capsularis). Jute felt is produced by matting or compressing jute fibers together to create a dense and sturdy fabric. Jute Felt is 100% biodegradable and reduces without leaving harmful traces to the nature. The product protects the soil against risky temperatures and hence helps in the existence of plants. The Jute Felt engrosses moisture, up to 5 times its own weight and hence provides water to plants during thirsty periods. Depending on the intended use, jute felt may be treated or combined with other materials to enhance its properties.
